The eighth issue of the series about the historical motorcycles is dedicated again to a model made in Spain; the Soriano model Puma with sidecar
This ATM paper will be the last one made this year through the R.C.M.-F.N.M.T.

R. Soriano presented his third model of motorcycle in 1947 ; it was the Puma. This model included a English Villiers engine of 122 cc.
It was really the first trustworthy model of the mark; after the success, the company "was inspired" by this mechanics to produce its own engines.
In 1952 they would make a new version, the Puma 2, but it was never commercialized.

The Soriano were manufactured in Madrid from 1941. During the decades of ' 40s and ' 50s, when the authentic "boom" of the two wheels in Spain took place, the company made several models of small motorcycles called: Lince, Pantera or Tigre ...
They maintained its production until 1954, year in which the trade name of the company changed and they stopped the manufacture of motorcycles.
